The club has nationally accredited instructors who can provide expert tuition in how to fly aircraft as well as their set up and operation. The wealth of knowledge available within the club also ensures that those new to the hobby are provided with the correct advice to ensure aircraft and equipment purchases are made that suit the individuals’ needs and flying ability.

A flight simulator is available that new members can start on and get accustomed to the controls before taking the plunge and learning to fly on the real thing. The club has trainer aircraft available for use by club members, with a small charge to cover expenses. For those that have their own aircraft the tuition is free. Prospective new members can have two free flights to get a feel for flying and ascertain whether it’s something for them.

The training and guidance provided by the club ensures that as well as learning to fly members also learn the correct techniques which maximises their success in the hobby. With assistance almost anyone can learn to fly a plane, but without it your chances of success are slim and you're most likely to quickly wreck your investment, so we strongly encourage you to visit the club and we’d be happy to show you how it's done.
